Online ordering

Online ordering lets a customer select products or services and submit an order through a digital journey. A complete flow needs clear availability, prices, fulfilment details and an accurate confirmation. Payment, order acceptance and fulfilment are separate events, and the business should know which of them has happened at each stage.

Why it matters for your business

The value is reducing avoidable back-and-forth while keeping the operational handover clear. A beautiful menu page is not yet an ordering system if the team cannot reliably receive and fulfil the order.

A business example

A meal-prep customer chooses a collection date and meals. The team checks the recorded order and payment status before preparing it.

Illustrative example.

Your next step

Walk through one order from product choice to fulfilment and identify every manual handover.
