AGI
Artificial general intelligence, usually shortened to AGI, refers to the idea of AI with broad, general capability across many kinds of cognitive work. Definitions and proposed thresholds vary. It is not a useful substitute for specifying what a particular business tool can do, what information it uses and how its output will be checked.
Why it matters for your business
Business buying decisions should rest on demonstrated workflows and a clear scope. A broad intelligence label does not establish that a receptionist can manage a booking, access a customer record or resolve an exception.
A business example
A business evaluates whether a tool captures enquiries accurately and supports a dependable handover rather than choosing it because of a general capability claim.
