Test call
A test call is a controlled call used to check how a configured phone journey behaves. It should cover an expected request and important exceptions, then verify the resulting record and handover. Hearing a greeting is not enough to prove the full journey works, and a successful test does not guarantee every future call will behave identically.
Why it matters for your business
Testing turns a setup claim into something reviewable before customers rely on it. The useful result is a record of what passed, what failed and who owns the next correction.
A business example
A business tests a normal enquiry, a request outside its services and an unanswered transfer destination, checking the recorded outcomes after each call.
Illustrative example.Your next step
Write the expected result before calling, then compare it with the captured details and actual handover.
