Appointment confirmation

An appointment confirmation tells a customer that the agreed booking has been accepted. It should make the date, time, location or joining method and any relevant conditions clear. The message must reflect the actual booking record. A successful email send by itself does not prove the calendar entry or service allocation exists.

Why it matters for your business

Confirmation removes uncertainty and gives both sides a shared reference. Any later change should update the operating record and the customer communication so the two do not contradict each other.

A business example

A service visit is confirmed only after the team checks coverage and capacity, then sends the agreed appointment details.

Illustrative example.

Your next step

Test that a confirmation matches the booking record, including time zone, address and rescheduling route.
